This is one of the best biofeedback de-stressing tools we have ever come across. It shows your temperature to 0.2° Fahrenheit and lets you know if you are stressed or calm.

For instance, when you are stressed your temperature can be as low as 81° Fahrenheit and when you are calm it can be as high as 96° Fahrenheit. And the room temperature has nothing to do with it.

When you are stressed your body goes into fight or flight mode and it draws a lot of blood from the extremities to the large muscles and vital organs. The temperature in your feet, hands and face reduces. Ever gone white in the face when you got a shock?

When you are calm your blood is not needed as much by your vital organs and so returns to the extremities, your hands, feet and face.

All well and good but how do you get your temperature up when you are stressed? Easy just connect the thermometer’s lead to your finger and using the Stress Relief Breathing Technique your temperature will rise. At first you might not think it’s working but eventually your temperature will begin to rise.

It might take anywhere from 5 to 25 minutes of focused breathing but what’s the rush. After all this is about calmness, chilling out, taking time out for yourself. It will go up. Of that there is no doubt.

You will actually see your temperature rising. You will ‘see’ yourself de-stressing. Your goal is 95° Fahrenheit and you will achieve it. But you need to keep practicing the Stress Relief Breathing Technique.
