Our College participated in both Pump Up the Volume and The Genesis eXperience two weeks ago and the effect has been fantastic. A small group of very un-motivated Year 11 boys took a dramatic turn for the better and have knuckled down and finished their GCSE coursework in the nick of time. This has lead to them raising their predicted grades by at least a grade. Something that three weeks ago seemed too much too hope for. The Genesis group are also still thinking positively and smiling two weeks after the event and are confident about the coming exams. "What a difference a day makes!"

It is hard enough keeping the attention of these particular pupils for one hour never mind a whole day, but Tom managed it admirably.
